This training branch is located at the foothills of the enchanting langeberg mountains and you will be surrounded by breath-taking mountain views and incredible fynbos while you learn exciting new outdoor and survival skills.

The bushcamp is in a safe and private game farm with eland, kudu, bushbuck, red duiker and klipspringe roaming the farm. More than 500 bird species have already been identified in this wildlife abundant area.

Directions from GEORGE AIRPORT (40km from Mosselbay)

Take the N-2 to Capetown. Travel for 80km and turn left onto the R325 Gouritsmond road. Travel for 2km and turn right onto the first dirtrad at the Boswa survival signboard. Travel for 1km down the dirt road and turn sharp right into the trees on a small sand track. (There is a decoration boat on your right). Travel for 200m to the Boswa entrance gate.

Directions from CAPETOWN (370km from Capetown)

Take the N-2 highway to Mosselbay. Travel for 345km and pass Albertinia town on your left. After 8km turn right on the R-325 Gouritsmond road. Travel for 2km and turn right onto the first dirtrad at the Boswa survival signboard. Travel for 1km down the dirt road and turn sharp right into the trees on a small sand track. (There is a decoration boat on your right). Travel for 200m to the Boswa entrance gate.

Branch Instructors

Herman Roos

Herman is the founder and chief instructor of Boswa Survival and has trained more than 3500 students on 670 courses for the past 18 years.

Carlo Vos

Carlo is an expert on ocean survival and an experienced ship captain and he has joined the Boswa team in 2022 as ranger and instructor.

Lee de Beer

Lee dedicates her time to learning the incredible fauna of the Cape fynbos and she joined the Boswa team in 2023.
