This training branch is located on the Vaal-river which is the border between North-West and Freestate. Within easy driving distance from Orkney, Klerksdorp and Potchefstroom you will enjoy pristine nature on the banks of a great river surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Relax around a crackling campfire with breath-taking views while you learn exciting new outdoor and survival skills.

The bushcamp is in a safe and private nature area with an abundance of fauna and wildlife on the river. The best of both worlds in nature and river activities awaits you at this incredible training camp.

This branch is run by outdoor expert instructor Schalk Els. Schalk is a trained paramedic and trained as a Boswa instructor to share his extensive experience training people from all walks of life in outdoor skills is a great asset for Boswa students.

This training branch offers beginner survival courses, kids courses and navigation courses to students regardless of previous experience or ability. You will experience training in a setting of incredible beauty on a famou sriver bank ! Within easy drive from Orkney, Klerksdorp and Potchefstroom.
