On this 3-day expedition leader course you will learn the skills to be able to plan and lead outdoor hikes, adventures and expeditions.

Survival techniques are expertly demonstrated by our instructors before you get to try the skills yourself.

This expedition leader course is not an endurance event but is conducted in a safe and comfortable environment where you will learn the skills at your own pace. You will learn amazing skills, grow as a leader and emerge with confidence to be able to lead outdoor adventures and expeditions.

SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN ON THIS COURSE

  • Packing an expedition rucksack.

  • Plan hikes, camps, adventures and expeditions.

  • How to survive in any environment.

  • How to identify and manage emergency situations.

  • How to execute an adventure or expedition safely.

This expedition leader course is a professional qualification course and open to anyone over the age of 16 years.

The course is available at our Western Cape, Gouritsmond training branch.
