ADVENTURER Survival Course

3 Courses in 1 ! (Basic Survival, Advanced & Bushcraft)

This complete 3-day practical outdoor adventurer course is open to anyone over the age of 13.

Available only at our Western Cape training branch !

Skills you will learn on this course !

  • Outdoor survival skills to be able to survive in the wild.

  • How to pack a complete survival kit for the outdoors.

  • How to find and build a shelter as protections against the elements.

  • How to safely make a fire using modern and primitive firelighting skills.

  • How to find and make water safe to drink in the outdoors.

  • How to find, hunt and prepare safe food in the wild.

  • How to navigate using nature signs like the sun, moon and stars.

  • How to get rescued when you are in trouble.

  • Advanced survival skills including survival psychology.

  • Bushcraft skills including wood carving.

This  is a 3-day course.

We start at 08h00 on day 1 and finish at 12h00 on day 3.

You will need the following kit to complete the course :

  • Survival knife

  • Firesteel

  • Water bottle

  • Cooking pot & spoon

  • Folding saw

  • Headlamp or torch

  • Sleeping bag

  • Groundsheet

  • Warm jacket

  • Hat or cap

  • Notebook and pen

We provide tents and waterproof survival shelter tarps where you will sleep warm and dry for the first night after which you will build your own shelter for the second night.

We provide all meals and you will not be expected to eat insects or anything that you do not want to.

The food is vegetarian friendly on request.
