On the solo survival course you will survive on your own for 48-hours and discover if you have what it takes to survive in the outdoors.

This ultimate challenge course focus on applying the skills that you have learned on previous courses to test your own ability, skills and experience in a remote wilderness location.

This course is open to students that have completed the BASIC, ADVANCED and EXTREME survival courses.

Frequently Asked Questions

This course is in an environmental wild extreme remote wilderness area. Please contact us for locations on upcoming solo survival courses.

No food is taken in on the extreme and you will have to find and prepare your own food from the wild.

You will sleep outside in either a natural shelter or on the ground next to the fire.

No, you do not need to be fit to do this course although your travel means and tasks will be directly influenced by your ability to walk and perform tasks.

You will only carry in a knife, firesteel, water bottle and the clothes on your back.

Any person over the age of 16 years can attend the course on his/her own and if you are under the age of 16 you need to be accompanied by an adult. You will survive on your own and kids under 16 is watched by an adult.

Yes. The course is STASA (Survival Training Association of South-Africa) certified and you can add the qualification to your CV. You can also talk to the instructor on the course if you want more information on how to become involved in a career with Boswa Survival.
