On this 1-day introduction to survival course you will discover what survival is all about and you will learn amazing survival skills.

After completing the Introduction Survival Course you will be able to safely do weekend adventures.

You will learn fundamental beginner survival skills and you will be able to progress to the Basic Survival course where you will build on your new-found knowledge and skill and even become a Survival Ranger !

A survival lunch is provided as part of the course and you will not eat insects or weird food unless you want to try when the opportunity arises.

This is a 1-day course and you will not sleep over on this course.

No, you do not need to be fit to do this course and anyone can do the course regardless of age or ability.

You do not need much kit for this course. Download your free printable course kit checklist below to check if you have the required kit items.

Any person over the age of 16 years can attend the course on his/her own and if you are under the age of 16 you need to be accompanied by an adult.

The course is STASA (Survival Training Association of South-Africa) certified and you can add the qualification to your CV. You can also talk to the instructor on the course if you want more information on how to become involved in a career with Boswa Survival.
